How long does it take to walk the three peaks?

Depending on weather and levels of fitness it can take between 8 and 13 hours. In some cases we can arrange transport to your starting points.

You can also check the Official Ingleborough Webcam for conditions on the mountain before you begin your walk.

Do you provide extra beds?

We have two extra adult beds and two children’s cots available to most rooms at an extra charge. Please your needs at the time of booking

Can I access the Wi-Fi?

We provide free Wi-Fi in our Public Bar and Bistro

Do I need to book for the Bistro?

Yes you do! Just let us know as soon as you can, The Bistro books up quickly on weekends so don’t forget!

When do you serve food?

We serve Breakfast in the Bistro from 8:00am – 9:30am . We then open for meals all day up to 9:30pm each night (See our Dining page for menus)

What time is check-in & check-out?

Check in is 3pm. We are happy to store bags until that time. Check out is 10:30am.

Where can I park?

The New Inn has a Private Car Park for Guests

Do you offer a packed lunch?

Yes we do! Please advise us at the time of booking or when you check in.

Do you offer a early breakfast?

For our early morning walkers we can arrange an early breakfast. Please advise us at the time or booking or during check-in

Can I smoke in my room?

The New Inn has a strict no smoking policy for our rooms or any area within the Inn, ash trays have been provided outside. Smoking inside will incur a £150 fee.

Do you provide discounts on group bookings?

Yes we do! We offer special deals for wedding groups, corporate events and walking groups.  Call and speak to a manager today

Can you host my event?

Please contact us to discuss your needs and we will work with you to plan your event. We often host corporate lunches, buffets, large dinners and parties.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

CANCEL with more than 2 weeks notice for 100% deposit refund -where the original deposit was paid by debit/credit card a deduction of 2% will be made from the deposit refund – to cover the card charges originally incurred by The New Inn. 

CANCEL 7 – 14 days prior to the arrival date originally booked for a 50% deposit refund – a deduction of 2% (as above) will be made from the refund. 

CANCELLATIONS less than 7 days prior to the arrival date originally booked will be charged at the full room rate unless we are able to rebook the room.

What happens if I damage something?

Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents.

Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge if you did not report this.


We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
